This single-family home tucked into the hills of Elkhorn is nothing short of charming. The architecture of the home fits seamlessly with the Elkhorn community while standing out without trying too hard. It lives bigger than it presents because of its immense flexible, dynamic spaces and the nature of a ‘daylight’ basement design.
One of the most fun – challenging aspects of this project was the complexity of the topography. To achieve an effortlessly nestled house on the site, it took a very intimate collaboration with our landscape consultants.
The outdoor living spaces were high on our list of priorities; we made sure to take advantage of the views and the added sunshine hours this specific site offers. We were not shy about adding amenities such as a spa, firepit and exterior staircase to closely connect the upper and lower living spaces. As a result, we can call this home a prime location to Après after a long day on the slopes.
