After receiving her Architectural degree from Pontifical Xavierian University, in Bogotá, Carmen fell in love with Idaho while traveling abroad. She began working under the mentorship of several local Architects, then continued to validate her studies and was accredited licensure in 2011.
Carmen finds joy in solving architectural problems with striking solutions often pushing boundaries while never sacrificing function. Sensitivity to the context and the environment are a top priority. Symmetry, proportions, human scale, clean lines and simple forms are a constant in all her projects.
