CF Architecture + Interiors is a full-service architecture and design studio based in Ketchum, Idaho, with a focus on forward-thinking, contemporary architecture catered to the unique character of each client and site. Our work is rooted in the belief that exceptional design comes from balancing creativity with functionality, making every project not just visually striking, but deeply connected to the way people live. We actively seek out distinct and high-quality design opportunities where innovation, craft, and vision can truly elevate a space.
Our studio takes on only a select number of projects at a time so that we can immerse ourselves fully in the process. By providing highly personalized service and meticulous attention to detail, we’re able to deliver results that exceed expectations. We see architecture as an intimate collaboration between designer and client—a shared journey where your aspirations, lifestyle, and story come together in built form.

Carmen Finegan, AIA, NCARB
Principal Architect
Carmen is the owner, CEO and Principal Architect. After receiving her Architectural degree from Pontifical Xavierian University, in Bogotá, Colombia, Carmen fell in love with Idaho while traveling abroad for tennis. She began working under the mentorship of several local Architects, then continued to validate her studies and was accredited licensure in 2011.
Carmen finds joy in solving architectural problems with striking solutions, often pushing boundaries, while never sacrificing function. Sensitivity to the context and the environment are a top priority. Symmetry, proportions, human scale, clean lines, and simple forms are consistent through all her projects.
Carmen welcomes projects large or small with the same enthusiasm. Her energy. levels are unmatched. Her personality and dynamic work style drives personal relationships with clients and creates comfortable work environments. just wait until you meet her…
Felipe Leal
Project Architect / Designer
Felipe is our Senior Architect. He works closely with Carmen to make bold ideas real and tangible. He is always looking for ways to improve functionality and excels at tackling the most technical side of what we do. Felipe received his master’s in architecture from UIMETA in Colombia.
Abigail Beckley
Junior Architect / Designer
Abby is the newest addition to the team. Abby graduated from SDSU with a degree in Interior Architecture. Abby is Carmen’s right hand woman. She has quickly become a key player, juggling every aspect of our projects including design, client meetings, job site meetings, and submittals, while keeping us all on our toes. And somehow manages to keep a smile on her face!
Vanessa Olmos
Project Architect / Designer
We are lucky to have Vanessa as one of our remote Architect. Her eye for detail and persistence for perfection sets her apart. She is an expert at technical 3D visualizations. Vanessa received her master’s in architecture from UIMETA in Colombia. Although she works remotely, she leaves a big mark on all CF projects.
